Recent Virtual Roundtable with CMS Administrator Seema Verma on Price Transparency Final Rule
On Thursday, October 29th, the V-BID Center hosted a virtual roundtable with CMS Administrator Seema Verma and invited panelists to discuss the recent final rule requiring most private health plans to disclose pricing and cost-sharing information. Under this rule, over 200 million Americans will gain access to real-time price information, enabling them to know how much their care will cost before receiving treatment.

Survey Reveals Trend in Lower-Cost, Higher-Value Employer-Provided Health Care Delivery Models
A recent survey of employers found that 73% of organizations plan to adopt more value-based health care delivery models over the next three years. Employers’ main concerns included increasing employees’ access to telehealth, mental health services, and substance abuse treatment, as well as improving the affordability of specialty drugs and medical care services.
