On Thursday, July 13, the Biotechnology Innovation Organization along with Biocom, Bio NJ, Bio Utah, CLSA, and other health organizations, co-hosted a congressional briefing at the House of Representatives in Washington, DC. Discussion surrounded the cost and value of prescription medicines to patients, caregivers, and our health care system.
Dr. A. Mark Fendrick, MD, Director of the Center for Value-Based Insurance Design (V-BID), gave a presentation on value-based medicine and drug pricing and savings in healthcare.
