On February 13, 2020, the V-BID Center’s A. Mark Fendrick presented at The National Academy of Medicine’s Value Incentives & Systems Action Collaborative. Held biannually, this meeting focuses on engaging leaders from public and private sectors to provide feedback and shape ongoing Action Collaborative efforts to accelerate the transition away from fee-for-service toward value and population health.
Dr. Fendrick’s session illustrates how V-BID X can serve as a template to expanding pre-deductible coverage/lowering consumer cost-sharing on high value services through identifying, measuring, and reducing low-value care.
