Health Management & Policy 631 Health Insurance and Payment Systems

On Friday, March 12, 2020, V-BID Center director, A. Mark Fendrick, presented to the students of University of Michigan School of Public Health HMP 631.  

The graduate class consists of Executive Master’s degree students in Health Management and Policy and aims to examine the conceptual and management frameworks for financing health care services through insurance, contracting and managed care. Dr. Fendrick spoke to attendees about alternative payment methodologies, payment reform, and conflicting incentives.
