twitter-birdOn Wednesday, August 19th at 11 am EST, the V-BID Center held a tweetchat with Dr. A. Mark Fendrick, Director of the V-BID Center, and moderated by Austin Frakt, regular contributor to The New York Times’ The Upshot.

The chat focused on how the principles of Value-Based Insurance Design (V-BID) and clinical nuance  can change the health care cost discussion from “how much” to “how well.”  Topics included the potential impact of V-BID on Medicare, high-deductible health plans, and out-of-pocket costs.

The V-BID Center encouraged Twitter users to engage in the discussion by submitting their own questions and comments using #VBIDchat.
